Back to the bay
It's time once again for the yachts to move over and make way for the real stars of the show – yes, it's the 7th Harley-Davidson EuroFestival, 2013 and the 30th anniversary of H.O.G.®! For one long weekend in May, the Golfe de St. Tropez is taken over as the playground of the rich and famous becomes home to Harley owners from all over Europe.
This is the event that kick-starts the summer season and legions of gleaming Harleys will descend upon the stunning bay for an action packed weekend. Whether you choose to spend your days relaxing on the sun-soaked beach, revelling in the music and activities, sipping coffees in town with the jet-set elite or catching up on all that Harley-Davidson has to offer for 2013, this event has something for everyone.
As ever, a stellar line-up of music will be heard on the beachfront main stage. The main throughfare becomes a Harley highway day and night where there's always something to see.
Harley-Davidson's roster of 2013 bikes will be on display for you to marvel at and take for a spin around the twisting roads of the French Rivera. Then, take to your own two wheels for the spectacular parade and show the yacht owners in St-Tropez how to really travel in style.
The Trader area will be buzzing with stalls and demonstrations of talented mechanics and artists displaying their latest creations. See how they make their magic and then make for the hills to see these bikes and many more head-to-head in competition in the Custom Bike Show. Held in the beautiful village of Grimaud, the show is an undisputed highlight of the Harley Calendar. The main square becomes alive with some of the coolest, creative and craziest bikes you'll ever see.
The incredible machines are the result of long hours and pain-staking work and the unflinching passion that goes into every bike is clear to see. Last year's Best in Show was Samuele Reali's sleek and sexy antique sidecar – come to the show, experience the atmosphere and find out who'll be crowned this year's champion.
So, pack your bags, check your maps and head down to the south of France for a taste of the Mediterranean – Harley style.
